When a sudden accident or disaster strikes, professional rescuers are often unable to reach the scene right away. In those moments, basic first aid knowledge and response skills can be the key to saving a life.

• Bleeding control techniques — When and how to correctly apply tourniquets and direct pressure
• Wound care — Steps and precautions for Israeli bandages and basic dressing
• Casualty transport — On-scene assessment and safe transport principles
